Position: Corporate Support Officer
What do you do at Viaduct Care? I provide support to the corporate function of the organisation.
What relevant experience did you have before taking up this role? I worked at Stockport CCG for a bit and prior to that I was a project manager in the market research industry.
What is your favourite Film or TV show? At the moment I’m watching Schitt’s Creek on Netflix. It’s about a wealthy family who suddenly lose all their money and end up living in an awful motel in a town they once bought as a joke.
What do you like to do in your spare time? Spending time with my 19 month old son takes up most of my spare time these days which is very demanding but a lot of fun. I manage to steal an hour away each week to go to a yoga class.
You have been asked to choose a country to spend six months in. Where would it be? I’d go to a yoga and meditation retreat in Bali and switch off for a few weeks, then ship the family out and we’d have an adventure travelling round Australia in a campervan.
What book would you recommend for having a positive impact on your life? I read a lot of books on spirituality and healing. Some of them are quite out there! Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Near-Death Experience and Journey Into the Afterlife by Eben Alexander is a very interesting book.
What musician would you most like to meet and why? Brody Dalle (you probably don’t know who she is!) lead singer of The Distillers
What is your closest brush with fame? I went to art college with fellow Bradfordian Dynamo (AKA Stephen Frayne) We studied the same course and used to get the bus together.
I was also part of a flash mob dance for a drama called Frankenstein’s Wedding, broadcast live on the BBC!
